Is Nigeria in Trouble???(an article from 2014)

This is an article I wrote in 2014 and it was during the era of PDP and the difficulties Nigerian's were  facing. I am sharing this article again today to ask if we are any better than we were in 2014? Read below..
"Ha.., how the mighty fall!!! How the mighty becomes a laughing stock in the eyes of the very ant, he lords it over. How the mighty rewrites every honest scripts and prints same with the ink of dishonesty and force it down the people's throat with evident thongs and thorns.
There will always be problems in life and knowing that problems will arise makes it all the reason why we go through life because as we are promised problems, so also are we promised solutions;(Check the Bible).

I am particularly worried that many people fail to see the dangers that lie ahead in a state of confusion as we have in Nigeria. A state of confusion where the lawmakers and elected public officials become hired assassins, snipers, hangmen, etc to take out the very people they pledged loyalty to is really confusing and it will make the "piper" play the tune more unwillingly to he that pays him because it definitely will make a scary tune because instead of dancing to the tune, you get slaughtered and this includes the "piper".
We hear various stories of how our leaders have become "mafias and gladiators" after having lined their corridors with persons of questionable character. Persons who should be residents of the highest maximum security prisons have now become "lawmakers and enforcers" with special clauses of the law exempting them from persecution.

Leadership in Nigeria can be likened to watching a badly scripted Nollywood movie where Pete Edochie is the Youth Corper returning from the Northern parts of Nigeria to his Village in Umunede to meet a Jim Iyke and Halima Abubakar as his parents; or a true life drama showing how Justin Bieber is being paraded in court on charges of being irresponsible because he is a teenager who got famous too early.

Outsiders are now the ones who tell us to be wise and avoid the mistakes they made which plunged them into a war they are yet to recover from. We are by every single of "managing" the kind of leaders and structures we have getting drawn into the abyss where the smell of roasted human flesh rent the air, with chopped hands and limbs laying over the streets with that becoming a familiar sight in every street corner.

We are on daily ruled with policies and procedures that set out a clear rule that we are different people because we have different languages and religion while our religious leaders live affluent lifestyle that questions their every word of preaching the good word from the Almighty. Religious leaders are failing to call a conference to address these anomalies and criminal leadership traits because they are end receivers of the largesse these leaders throw around if they (Preachers) say just a little prayer and look the other way.

The bane of the Nigerian society has become her values where material gains are placed way above a good name because we have come to accept bad names as a must have  for if you fail to act smart while in a position of power, your family will disown you. The bane of the average Nigerian is the all revered value of "respecting" the elders and not talk to them even if they are perceived or seen as being wrong, because when you do, you will be seen as being disrespectful and may incur the wrath and curse of the lands, yada de yada.
Every week breaks with a peculiar story that when heard, chills the spine of even the most ferrocious Volcano and read and hear news like :- "Boko Haram attacks Borno Village and kills 200";
"Abducted Chibok Girls still not found, some believed to be pregnant"; Boko Haram attacks Military base, kills 10 soldiers and cart away their armory";
"Military closes down media Houses in Lagos and Abuja on Presidency's order";
"Asari Dokubo (a well known thief and militant) threatens war if Jonathan fails to win in 2015";
"Nigeria military lack the needed weapons to fight Boko Haram";
"Intelligence gathering doesn't exist in the Nigerian army. Just point and kill like fish sellers";
"Borno: Bishop advocates jail term for those calling Christians ‘Arna’, ‘Kirdi’";
"Civilian JTF Capture 3 Boko Haram Killer Squad Members In Borno";
"SHOCKING": Shekau slept with me several times, I entertained his Generals – B’Haram Escapee"; "Kwankwaso is an ingrate, a failed governor – Jonathan";
"UNBELIEVABLE: The Chibok girls are pregnant, some will never return – Obasanjo";
"Ekiti 2014: Nigerian military orders shoot at sight";
"Nigerian woman bags 25-year jail term for smuggling ‘meth’ into Cambodia";
"Akwa Ibom assembly repeals N100m medical allowance for govs";
"Education Minister, Nyesom Wike is on the delegation to World Cup. Polytechnic lecturers on strike and Chibok school girls abducted";
"The Emir of Kano is a dog – Asari Dokubo";
"Jonathan can’t return home if he refuses to seek re-election in 2015 – Asari Dokubo";
"Violence Erupts At APC Convention In Abuja";
"We didn’t withdraw security detail, Kwankwaso lied – Nigerian Police";.... and there are a hundred thousand more if I have to keep up with this.

What is a poor and ordinary average Nigerian to do with these various distractions?

Are we ripe for stupidity or are we just being simply Nigerians with urge for stupidity?

Are we on the verge of war or on a verge of oblivion waiting to happen at an appointed time?

Who will Help Nigerians move for a Revolution????

THE BELOW WAS BROADCASTED TO ME BY SOMEONE:

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
One OMAR BANGURA from Sierra Leone has this to tell Nigerians;

"I don't think you guys know what you are playing with. You can call each other names and laugh about it now but when you end up inciting hate here as I read through your posts here and a real civil war start in your country you will regret what you are doing now. Your religious and political leaders are trying to divide you between religious lines and you are helping them do that rather than standing up and say we are all Nigerians never mind our tribe, region or religion.
That's the only stand that will save your blessed nation. The foreign powers pushing the government to take certain decisions will abandon you when you start killing each other and reject you from running to their countries so be careful. Our 11 years war in Sierra Leone was not even based on religious or tribal difference and see what we did to our country.
The worst conflicts are those based on tribal and religious differences. See central Africa,Bosnia. My heart bleeds when I read what you guys are saying because I know what this will lead to. You will be the loosers all of you whether Christian, Muslim, Ibo, Yoruba or Hausa stand as one and save your nation together because you have only one Nigerian that has the potential to lead Africa.

PLEASE HELP SAVE NIGERIA AND SHARE THIS TO AT LEAST TEN PEOPLE."
