Now that there are Snipers!!!

When Obj wrote a letter to GEJ, (permit me to use their initials as it has become really convenient), lots of GEJ die hard fans and sympathizers took to social media and started their assault on the dear old general and even his own daughter wrote a letter "washing her very dirty linen in public".

Many called the letter a desperate attempt at relevance and quickly called on Nigerians to dismiss the content, the writer and the allegations and then the President responded to the letter in a most defensive move yet as as was expected, he made sure to defend himself and called on all to investigate the general's allegation.

We as a people are still wondering at the letters and the various happenings when the general whom lots of persons have branded senile dropped another letter bomb, "resignation from PDP". That singular act alone is tantamount to series of unspeakable chaotic situations which as we go on, will become evident of the fact that we may have a Presidential system of rogue government that has a lengthy Curriculum Vitae of unresolved criminal cases and the inclusion of criminally insane persons in the most important sectors of governance.

There is Stella Oduah, there is Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, there is the NNPC and the missing billions of Naira, there is Nyesom Wike, there is Labaran Maku acting as a Minister of Defence despite the volatility of security in Nigeria, there is the countless numbers of attack dogs on social media and on the streets and now, there are the snipers.

Here comes the snipers who only just this morning tries to eliminate a serving senator in the person of Magnus Abe who was shot at almost close range in the very presence of his security details, because he dared fraternize with APC by showing up at the rally venue.
Many other persons where wounded by the "snipers" who shot teargas at the people including worshipers from Winners Chapel Eligbam and Salvation Ministries. Many children and women sustained injuries while running from the teargas shot into their midst and a block of shop was almost razed down by fire from a shot canister.

While it seemed as though they the police were doing their job, it has become really disturbing that there actually are moves by the PDP to stop any or every person with intentions to gather with an aim to rally for change and once that gathering is not in the name of the PDP, then there definitely will be snipers lurking in the shadows to take out the governor, senators, elder statesmen, youths and innocent women and children as was witnessed today and the most annoying part of the whole incidence today is that there are still some persons who judged the actions of the police/PDP right and necessary to tell the people that a Niger Deltan must be president even at the detriment of the well being of the people and Nation.

About a week ago, associates of Evans Bipi and Nyesom Wike were apprehended in a jeep with dozens of weapons including AK47s and nothing was done as an executive order saw to their release immediately and we are not talking about that again. There were also the bombings of a court in Rivers State just last week that was supposed to be used to hear the case stopping Bipi from parading himself as something he is not.

Now that there are snipers and with the entire social media space awash with the happenings of today, what do we do and how seriously are we supposed to take Obj's letter?

Now that there are snipers, is Senator Magnus Abe number 1 on the list or his hit was a mistake, and if it was a mistake, who was the number 1 shot for?

Now that there are snipers and with the events of today in Rivers State, will these snipers work for the people against a corrupt government and party?

Now that there are snipers and with the display of governmental orders from above today in Rivers State, how safe will the state now be for her residents and strangers?

Now that there are snipers, is El Rufai really number 7 on that list and how many innocent Nigerians are on the list termed "collateral damage"?

Now that there are snipers, what will now become of us a people with high expectations from a government that really doesn't give a damn?

Now that there are snipers, whatever will happen to breath of fresh air and the Ijaw king's transformation agenda?

Now that there are snipers, what will happen in 2015 and how far is GEJ/PDP willing to go to remain in ASO Rock?

Now that there are snipers, does it now mean there should never be an opposition in Nigeria because we have an Ijaw King and how long will this intimidation and forcefull display of power last?

Now that there are snipers are Nigerians safe and especially those of us on twitter and other social media platforms are we the list as well or on a combined list for collateral damage?
Now that there are snippers, may God help us all......
